Magic moment

We’ve reached that magic moment in the Chilterns, when the beech leaves are just coming out.  They float on the air.

I wrote about this last year here, but it was a week later then.  This year, unlike last, the moment coincides with the bluebells.

I want to stop the clock and enjoy this special time in the woods.  But time charges on and in a week it will all be different.

The beech leaves are very special. Your bluebells are a lovely carpet, while ours seem a bit tardy and less dense so far.
